Working with this wonderful family was a treat! It was a little hard to get everyone together at the same time for this session, so I was happy that I was available for them 🙂
The Fulmer family session consisted on Great grandparents, grandparents, moms and dads, an aunt, and of course, those sweet grandbabies. I know how important it is to capture these moments together when you have everyone together. They requested to do them at Campbell’s Covered Bridge in Landrum, which is such a perfect spot for fall photos. I’m so happy with how everything turned out 🙂
Here are some of my favorites!
Thank you Fulmer family for allowing me to document your family together! I hope you are able to cherish these photos for a lifetime 🙂
I’ve met many, many people with photographing weddings, engagements, and families. Whenever I met Nina, it was just SO easy to sit down and talk. We blabbed forever and it didn’t feel like it at ALL. I didn’t get to meet Hershell until the day of the wedding due to him being in the military and out of the country, so in the meantime, I bonded with Nina. We also done Nina’s bridals which will be coming SOON!
When we got to the wedding day, we had already went over the timeline and how the day would go and everything they wanted. I couldn’t have asked for a better wedding day for Hershell & Nina. When I arrived, her and the girls were just relaxing and enjoying themselves. So I got all of the details, (dress, jewelry, extras in the room) and then I just watched the day unfold. Hershell requested to have a first look with Nina and buddy, I was SOOOOO excited. I’ll just let you see how that went 😉
I loved watching Hershell & Nina get married and spend their day with the family and friends. So much love and happiness in every part of the day. I can’t show y’all the entire wedding because we’d be here all day, but here is a TON of my favorites that will best tell their story.
Thank you so much Hershell & Nina for having me on your big day! It was an absolute pleasure getting to know you both and I wish you both the absolute best in your marriage and lives together ❤
When I first met Brian & Ashley, I knew that they were family oriented and knew exactly what they wanted. Instead of bridals, they opted to have family portraits as they both have children. Ashley said bridals weren’t her thing, and that’s okay! So I said, absolutely! When they showed up in cowboy boots and with everything in hand knowing what they wanted that day, made our day together so much easier and fun.
They also wanted to get their engagements done in October without any signs of fall-like trees and foliage. Lucky for them, South Carolina has crazy weather and Fall doesn’t hit until like November into December, so t’was all good! Haha. We done their photos at the beautiful Furman University college campus in Greenville, SC, which I always love. It’s a large campus with so much to cover that you’re always finding something new to work with. I love it!
Here’s a “few” of my favorites from Brian & Ashley’s engagement session 🙂
I had the best time working with Brian & Ashley. They were so fun and easy going that we completely forgot that we had a time limit to work with, haha. Shoot ’til dark, son! You can really tell how much they love each other and I can’t wait to photograph their wedding in May!
I met Kevin & Kelly at a Starbucks back in September. We talked over the main details of their wedding, laughed mostly, and got to know each other a little better. Kelly was actually referred from one of my long time clients, Jessica (Ya know that super adorable couple I’ve done my styled shoots with? Yeah, them! Most recent session with them HERE.), who she use to work with. Said that loved my work and chose me to be their wedding photographer. How awesome!
Their engagement session was so much fun and we had MANY laughs, as I’m sure there are many more to be had from the way that we interact with one another, lol. The day that we were at Furman University, there was either a football or soccer game going on (don’t remember which) and they had been playing Black Eyed Peas, so it could be heard all over the campus. While I was switching out one of my lenses, I had my back turned for a minute, and in true “me” fashion, I started rapping a part of the song in this deep, burly voice. Totally professional. And from behind me, I hear this burst of laughter coming from Kevin & Kelly because apparently I had interrupted a romantic moment they were having. Whoops! 😛 One of the many perks of working with this ‘lil gal. I break out into song at any given moment, be prepared folks!
Here are some of my favorites from their engagement session 🙂
Kevin & Kelly are to be married on May 6th, 2017.
Thank you Kevin & Kelly for making a part of this process in your lives. I can’t wait to do Kelly’s bridals soon, and then the big day in a few months!
