It’s always a pleasure working with my dear friend April. She was coming up to NC to visit with her in laws and said that she wanted to get together for some pictures of her son, Dalton, and her niece and nephew. I brought up Campbell’s Covered Bridge as an option as it was right smack dab in the middle of us, and it was perfect. I don’t think I’ve met a more photogenic little group of children, of course, they are still kids, but we got some great smiles out of them which made for some priceless photos 🙂
Here are just a few of my faves 🙂
At the end, April pulled me aside and went behind the bridge and got a few of just Dalton, but he wasn’t in the mood anymore, so we got these priceless faces, haha. It was, as always, fantastic getting to see April and Dalton, plus meeting her MIL (mother-in-law) and adorable niece and nephew was a blast as well. We gotta get YOUR family some time or another, girl! 😉
Thank you for meeting up with me for some great photos, and even better memories 🙂
I’ve worked with the Walden’s quite a few times, Sara & Kyle even more than that.
You can view all of the previous sessions together (at least the ones I have blogged, the rest are on the JMP Facebook page) in the links below:

Sara & I had been trying to get a session together as my trips to Kentucky had/have been quite limited since I’m starting to pick up more weddings and all of my health issues from 2016 and pregnancy in 2015. But we finally made it! October 2016, we finally made it happen, haha. It had been years since I had seen Josh, Sara, and their boys and it was nice getting to see them again. I hadn’t realized how big the boys had gotten, they’re both wild and crazy little men, haha. We had us a time just getting a single shot of Gavin by himself, lol. But we got so many good photos of this wonderful family and I’m so glad that they choose me to capture these memories of them together 🙂
Here are good deal of my favorites from the Walden’s family session back in October.
I can’t wait to see you all again and hopefully we let it get to years again. We all know how crazy our schedules get, but I can’t wait to see you guys and those precious boys in the near future! Thank you again for allowing me photograph you 🙂
After being friends with Juleda in middle and high school it was so heartwarming to finally see her with the one that she was meant to be with. Originally, I was going to photograph their wedding, but with the venue they had, outside photographers weren’t allowed. So what we decided on was a post-wedding shoot (since we couldn’t coordinate our visits to accommodate engagements either, haha) in late October. Their wedding took place on October 3rd, 2016 at the Red River Gorge in Kentucky. The photos that were taken were absolutely beautiful!
We had a great little session together! They claimed that were awkward taking photos together, but I concur! They were so cute together and it just made my job easier. Y’all don’t even know what you’re talking about 😛 They did tell me while I was getting a quick ring shot (because I live for details) that while on their honeymoon, Geoff lost his ring….in the ocean, lol. That’s one way of kicking off your marriage, haha. I kid, but you guys…he did get another one, so it’s all good.
Here are just a few faves from my session with Geoff and Juleda 🙂
Although I didn’t get to photograph your gorgeous ceremony, I’m so blessed that you chose me to get these few photos of you together after. I wish you and Geoff many, many years of happiness and love!
One thing I love about going home in the fall? The trees, the cool weather, just…..ahhh. Down here in SC, we don’t get as pretty and colorful of trees for as long as Kentucky does. And it photographs so well and it’s just simply one of my favorite times to do shoots, ever.
Jonathan & VeLora, I immediately jumped up and wanted to do their engagement photos once it was announced they were engaged. VeLora is also my cousin, so you know I had to hook a sister up! Plus, she is SUPER gorgeous and who would want to miss the opportunity to get photos of this beauty? And I also went to school with Jonathan, so we all worked together very well.
VeLora & Jonathan had only been engaged for a few weeks whenever we done their engagement session and so in love. Jonathan proposed to VeLora at Cumberland Falls in Corbin, KY. If you’re a local in our town, you know Cumberland is the place to be when it comes to proposals, fishing, and camping 😛 Continue reading
