I met with Mackenzie when I was SUPER pregnant (probably in my last month) and we talked for a good hour or so about her and Chris and just details about the big day in September. She told me that Chris is actually in the military and she teaches dance to kids! And if you notice in their pictures, she has the BEST posture of any woman I’ve ever photographed. Reminds me of my days in high school when I was in choir, haha.
Due to both of their conflicting schedules we had to do their engagements in early December at Wofford’s campus, whom Chris is a Alma Mater, which is how we were able to take pictures on their beautiful campus. But jokes on you, weather! It was actually beautiful that day and the trees were still full of yellow/orange leaves. WIN!
I quickly realized that even though Mackenzie told me that Chris doesn’t like taking pictures that that was a big fat lie because they were SO easy to photograph. Chris was an absolute HOOT to work with and made Mackenzie laugh (which I’ve recently found out again, doesn’t take too much, haha), which in turn, made my job that much easier. I actually just shot Mackenzie’s bridals this past Friday and I unfortunately have to hold onto those until SEPTEMBER (this will be the longest five months ever, lol), but it will be so worth it! They are getting married on September 10th 2016 and I simply cannot wait 🙂
Here are a few faves from Chris & Mackenzie’s engagement session!
Again, I had such a wonderful time photographing Chris & Mackenzie in December and definitely can’t wait to document their wedding in September 🙂
