One thing I love about going home in the fall? The trees, the cool weather, just…..ahhh. Down here in SC, we don’t get as pretty and colorful of trees for as long as Kentucky does. And it photographs so well and it’s just simply one of my favorite times to do shoots, ever.
Jonathan & VeLora, I immediately jumped up and wanted to do their engagement photos once it was announced they were engaged. VeLora is also my cousin, so you know I had to hook a sister up! Plus, she is SUPER gorgeous and who would want to miss the opportunity to get photos of this beauty? And I also went to school with Jonathan, so we all worked together very well.
VeLora & Jonathan had only been engaged for a few weeks whenever we done their engagement session and so in love. Jonathan proposed to VeLora at Cumberland Falls in Corbin, KY. If you’re a local in our town, you know Cumberland is the place to be when it comes to proposals, fishing, and camping 😛
I had a wonderful time shooting with these two love birds and wish them both the most happiness and love with their marriage!
Here are a few of my favorites (and this was a hard one, lol).
I cannot explain into words how much I loved taking these photos with this beautiful couple. That last photo? OMGAH. While I was taking those series of photos, I was in back lit photo heaven! LOL. But having a couple who show their love for each other is all I need to make a photo great. I am truly blessed to photograph wonderful people such as Jonathan & VeLora 🙂
