Justin & Taylor were married on a gorgeous (but definitely hot) July evening. So thank goodness for a well air conditioned church, lol. I first spoke with the both of them over a year ago via Skype. Couldn’t really meet up with the both of them since Taylor was in KY and Justin was down here in SC! Both of them were/are going to school and they were states apart. I don’t know how they could stand being so far apart from each other for so long, but if their dedication and love for one another isn’t shown that way, then I don’t know how, haha.
I was so excited to shoot Justin & Taylor’s wedding over the sheer simplicity of everything and the overall style and color scheme. Also, it helps that they are an absolutely adorable couple 😛
It’s hard to explain into words how much I loved their wedding and how amazing everything went, so I’ll let you see for yourself 🙂
Beth was Taylor’s MUA and was (as usual) amazing. She use to work with my dear friend April at Classy Styles! Beth has since moved on to Browning Studio in Greenville and is still rocking what she does the same as ever. She also done the makeup for my styled shoot last summer!
This prayer over Taylor was done by one of her friends (and who she called an honorary bridesmaid). All of her bridesmaids and the mothers gathered around as they prayed over Taylor before she walked out to be married to Justin. It was absolutely lovely 🙂
And this prayer was between Justin & Taylor alone. He was blindfolded ( and I loved that it matched everything from the wedding, haha) and ALMOST caught a peek of Taylor when walking up to her, haha. So very sweet to watch these two start their marriage with such grace and love 🙂
These favors….OMG….when I grabbed a bag or two when I was walking out to my car, I thought there might’ve been peanuts in there. NO…there were these absolutely amazing candied pecans that absolutely rocked my world. Taylor says they made them! I must have this recipe….I just must!
This little couple (I’m hoping they are a couple! lol) danced so much (and very well, might I add) that I just HAD to share this photo of them.
They ended the night with a tunnel of sparklers! And I didn’t catch this because I was caught COMPLETELY off guard, but the groomsmen held Justin and crammed a whole bag of (dry) grits down his pants, lol. The sidewalk was covered with it, lol.
This wedding was absolutely beautiful and I’m very blessed that I was chosen to photograph it! I wish you, Justin & Taylor, the absolute best with your lives and marriage 🙂
Until my next post (which will be soon, I promise, lol),
