They greeted me with such enthusiasm and joy, I was immediately excited to spend the next hour with Nathan & Krista.
As I do with everyone, I just started talking to them. Because I mean, what’s so fun about walking around Falls Park and saying nothing to the people that you’re gonna be staring at for the next hour? lol. They were so welcoming and open to doing anything. Oh, and did I mention that Krista works with Ashley from the last session that I posted? Yeah, Ashley referred Krista and Nathan my way! Totally awesome stuff 🙂
We walked around the park until we found some places that suited the day and my style 🙂
In some of these shots, I was faced with climbing and standing on the brick window, just to get the right angle. It was a little high up for me when I was standing AND while holding camera equipment, yeah…I was a little unstable, haha. I told Nathan & Krista that I may just fall over or on them, so don’t be surprised if it happens, lol.
This series of shots was probably the most difficult in the day (even though the lighting then was AHH-MAZING for the whole shoot) because I had to get Nathan & Krista JUST right. And getting the focus with all of the sunlight bearing on me was very crucial for the best shots. And by golly, we got them 🙂
As I sat with Nathan & Krista at Starbucks, while they were picking out their faves, I noticed that Nathan was picking out all of the ones where Krista was looking at the camera. It was entirely too sweet to see that happening between a lovely couple like this one. Makes me all happy and what-not 🙂
Getting to spend my day with Nathan & Krista (even though we didn’t spend very long together) made me adore my job even more. Having couples who are just happy to be there and are comfortable enough to show their love for each other in front of the camera, makes my heart sing. I hope that we can work again in the future guys, you both were such a hoot to work with! 🙂
Until next time….
Kentucky peeps! My visit to KY is March 22nd – 23rd. I am booking very, VERY few sessions and what I do book is mini sessions, so I would HIGHLY advice to book while there are spots available 🙂
