This Greenville wedding was beautiful. The church had cathedral high ceilings with lovely spotlights right on Mike & Shana, even though they claimed that the lights blinded them to death, lol. Mike and Shana both have a huge, loving family from all over the east coast who joined them on their big day. Their families treated me wonderfully and gave me QUITE a few good laughs at this wedding. Between Mike not being able to repeat vows and wanting to give Shana a fist bump instead of a kiss, photo bombs during the reception, touching speeches from the maid of honor, and a bit of trickery from Mike (to whomever caught the garter), it was a great wedding to be a part of and I would do it all over again, just for them 🙂
Okay, so here’s what’s up. The man who caught the garter was blindfolded and was under the impression that he was going to be putting it on the leg of the lady on the right of this photo (she’s a bit of a blur, lol)…little did he know, Mike was there with his leg all ready and bursting with laughter. As you can tell by the photo, it was rather hilarious, lol.
This shot of Mike and his mom is one of my favorites from the wedding. This would definitely be one that I would keep and frame if it were one of my babies 🙂
Touching speeches and photo bombing. All in one….told ya, lol. So much love and fun went into this wedding, I loved it!
To Mike and Shana, I sincerely hope that you had the wedding of your dreams and had a wonderful honeymoon to follow! I wish you both the best in life and I thoroughly enjoying photographing your big day 🙂
Until next time,
